Ashika Ranganath to star opposite Krishna in urban love story

Recently, we told you about PC Shekar and Darling Krishna teaming up for a love story that is being backed by actor Kaddipudi Chandru. Here's more news about the same. The team has chosen Ashika Ranganath as the female lead.
"We wanted someone who looks stylish and who also is a Kannadiga. This is going to be a completely urban love story that will appeal to the current generation and a lot of focus will be on presentation - with a stylish tone set in pastel colours.Ashika fits the bill perfectly," shares Shekar.

Of the character Ashika has been roped in for, Shekar says, “Ashika will be playing an HR professional, while Krishna plays a software engineer. The story is set against a corporate backdrop. I'm excited about returning to the romantic genre of filmmaking after a long time." While the team is yet to finalise on the title, the plan is to begin shooting in October.
