Ashika Ranganath joins Chiranjeevi in the socio-fantasy 'Vishwambhara'

Kannada actress Ashika Ranganath is set to star alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi in the highly anticipated socio-fantasy film, 'Vishwambhara.' The movie, currently in production, is slated for release during the Sankranti festival in January 2025.

Ashika, who was recently seen in the Kannada thriller 'O2,' shared her excitement about joining the cast of 'Vishwambhara' during an interview. She revealed that her role in the film is very important for the story’s progression. While she spoke about her character is not opposite Chiranjeevi, her character plays a significant part in the movie. Ashika expressed her enthusiasm for being part of such a major project, highlighting the importance of her role in the film.

The official announcement of Ashika’s involvement in 'Vishwambhara' was made by the film's makers recently, who welcomed her to the project. 'Vishwambhara' features Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, along with other notable actors such as Ramya Pasupaleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri in key supporting roles. The film is being made on an enormous budget with grand sets, and high visual effects adding flavour to the socio-fantasy-themed film.

Set to hit the cinemas on January 10, 2025, 'Vishwambhara' is expected to be one of the major releases of the year.
