AP Arjun, who has two 100-days hits to his credit – Ambari and Addhuri – is now aiming for a hat-trick with his third venture, Raate. The shoot of the film, which stars relative newcomers like Dhananjay (of Director's Special fame) and Shruthi Hariharan (who was most recently seen in Lucia), is 45 days down. Arjun says that
Raate is inspired by a real-life story and that the concept of “safeguarding love” is focal point of the film.
Raate is being produced by music director V Harikrishna under his Harimonium Reeds banner. Bullet Prakash, Suchendra Prasad, Mohan Juneja, Ravishankar, Kaddipudi Chandru form the supporting star cast of Raate.
