Archana Kottige is going back to college in her new movie,
Alankar Vidyarthi
, starring opposite
Pramod.
Archana says, “I will be seen in the role of a studious girl who wants to excel in academics to make it big in life. This is the third time I am portraying the role of a college student in my short career. I couldn’t control my laughter while listening to the script. It is an out-and-out comedy and I am sure it will create a laugh riot.”
At the same time, she falls in love with a guy, in complete contrast to her character, says Archana, adding that the movie conveys a message to the student community.
The project is directed by debutante Dhanvith Keshav, who worked as an associate for Simple Suni.
Raghu Dixit is the music director.
Meanwhile,
Archana has also signed a movie called Jugalbandhi which has
Yash Shetty,
Ashwin Rao Pallakki and Manasi Sudhir in significant roles. “It’s a horror movie which keeps you intrigued from the first scene itself. This is the first time I am doing a horror genre and I am excited about the project," she adds.
Archana also has Dear Sathya,

and Shabari in the pipeline.
