April Madhathil Kannada remake launched

The upcoming Kannada movie Adarsh went on floors yesterday at one of the college premises in Bangalore. The movie is the remake of Tamil film April Madhathil, which is titled as Adarsh in Kannada. The Tamil movie, which was released in the year 2002 had Srikanth, Sneha and Gayathri Jayaraman in the lead roles.
The Kannada version will have Nagarjun, Prajwal Pooviah and Nikitha in the lead roles.The film is directed by Prabhakar, which will mark his directorial debut in Sandalwood. The film also has Padma Vasanthi and Ramakrishna in significant roles. Actor Nagarjun is playing the role of a college student in the film. The film is said to be a romantic film, which has comedy and other commercial elements.
Meanwhile, Nagarjun is playing the role of a range forest officer in another flick, Janma Nakshatra. The movie has Roopashree and Disha Pooviah in the lead roles. He also has MD, directed by Adath up for release.
