Apoorva vouches for a pollution-free Deepavali
She made a much-talked-about debut with Apoorva and followed it up with Victory 2. For actress Apoorva, this Deepavali is very special as she gets to work and also partake in the festivities at home after that. The actress says, “I am shooting for Krishna Talkies opposite Ajai Rao this Deepavali.
Apoorva confesses that Deepavali tops the list of favourite festivals for her and she looks at festivals as a way to celebrate the rich tradition that we have. “We celebrate Deepavali in a big way at home. Today, my mother will perform Lakshmi puja. While I will be working, I am looking forward to come back home in the evening and gorge on all the sweets that she has prepared. I love eating sweets during festivals. As I am not much of a party person, Deepavali is all about close family and friends for me and we gather at home and eat and make merry,” she explains.
Apoorva also says that she finds the lighting of the lamps most joyous during this time of the year. “When I was young, I would not only decorate my home with lamps, but would also go around my neighbourhood and light all the lamps in my neighbours’ homes. While I do not go around my neighbourhood now, the tradition of me decorating my home with lamps continues. I am not for crackers as they cause a lot of pollution. Since, this is the festival of lights, I would rather advice people to stick to lamps. My message to everyone is to be the lamp that lights up everyone's lives this Deepavali,” she signs off.
The teaser
of the film has been well received and that has heightened the festival for me.”Apoorva confesses that Deepavali tops the list of favourite festivals for her and she looks at festivals as a way to celebrate the rich tradition that we have. “We celebrate Deepavali in a big way at home.
