Anushka Shetty to make Kannada debut

Anushka Shetty may be from Mangalore, but the leggy lass hasn't done a Kannada film yet. Anushka has tasted success in the Tamil and Telugu film industry, and by the looks of it, the actress will finally be making her Sandalwood debut.
Kannada audiences will get to see Anushka in the Darshan-starrer Jaggu Dada, which will be directed by Raghavendra Hegde. Darshan is currently working on Ambareesha and will begin shooting for Jaggu Dada in June, which is when he is expected to complete work on Ambareesha.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Anushka will romance Rajinikanth in his next after Kochadaiiyaan. It is said that the film will go on floors on May 20 and will be shot extensively in Mysore, where a huge set is apparently being erected.
