Anupam Kher to do a Kannada film

Film and theatre actor Anupam Kher – who has done nearly 500 films and 100 plays – is reportedly doing his first Kannada film under the direction of N Omprakash Rao. Anupam, who was supposed to act in Hemanth Hegde's Nimbe Huli, will now be seen in the Chiranjeevi-starrer Ayya.
In the film, Anupam plays an honest politician when a minister comes to Karnataka in the film.In the course of the movie, a plan is hatched to kill Anupam's character.
Ayya, which is being produced by Umesh Reddy, is going on the floor October 23. The actual shoot begins in the first week of November.
