Anjan makes his debut in Kollywood with a crime thriller

Even before the release of his debut Sandalwood film, Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara, Mysore boy Anjan Dev has bagged a role in the upcoming Tamil flick Cheegu, directed by Azhaganandam.
Anjan, a trained theatre actor, says he plays a college student who gets involved in the illegal drug trade. “The movie is based on a real-life incident. The film revolves around the murky world of drugs and crime.It feels great to work in the neighbouring industry so early in my career. In the beginning, I had a bit of a problem speaking in Tamil, but I am quite fluent in the language now ,” he adds.
In Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara, Anjan is essaying the role of the charcater Brahma.
