Anish Tejeshwar, Meghana Gaonkar and Rakshit Shetty complete a decade in Sandalwood

Sandalwood actors Anish Tejeshwar, Meghana Gaonkar and Rakshit Shetty have a big reason to cheer. The trio, who entered the film industry with the rather quirky and raw Nam Areal Ondina that was directed by Aravind Kaushik, have completed a decade in the Kannada film industry. The film had created a lot of curiosity with its unconventional trailer and the contemporary soundtrack much ahead of its release.
The film released on July 23 in 2010 and the film won a lot of praises from the critics for the unconventional and non linear narrative as well as it's music and performances. The film had Anish and Meghana in the lead roles, while Rakshit had a pivotal role. Each of them won praises for their acting and were touted as people to look out for ever since.
The trio have remained good friends for over a decade and they have been each other's support in times of need. The film has since been revisited many times by fans after the three actors gained popularity in the film industry with their individual paths.
Incidentally, the film also saw many people like Kuri Prathap, Mandya Ramesh, Ravi Teja and even composer Arjun Janya, deliver memorable work that is still recalled by fans.
Rakshit and Meghana then went on to act in Aravind's next film Tughlak. Rakshit also helped release Aravind's last release Huliraya recently. Fans have hoped for the trio to reunite for a film since then. It will be interesting to see if they give in to those requests.
