Anirban Sil's film selected for 15th Rainbow Film Festival

Bengali filmmakers seem to come from another school altogether. The diarist has enjoyed most films by their directors, from Satyajit Ray and Rituparno Ghosh to Sujoy Ghosh of Kahaani.
And now, the executive producer of Kahaani, Anirban Sil, has made the transition to the director’s chair with his film Aborto. Sil, who was in the city, told the diarist that Aborto has been invited to show at the 15th Rainbow Film Festival in London which focuses mainly on Asian films.Another name to watch out for, feels the diarist.
