An Apology to Elephants to be screened in Bangalore

The documentary An Apology to Elephants will be screened in Bangalore as part of the Elephant Enigma exhibition and conservation talks. The 40-minute film has been directed by Amy Schatz and narrated by actress Lily Tomlin.
An Apology to Elephants explores purported abuse and brutal treatment of elephants, and showcases elephant training and the alleged psychological trauma and physical damage done to them by living conditions in some zoos and circuses.
The documentary will be screened at the Rangoli Metro Art Centre auditorium on Sunday, January 26, at 5 pm. The screening will be followed by interactions with experts in the field such as Surendra Varma, Suparna Ganguly and Dag Goering.
