Ramesh Aravind, Suhasini and
Sharath Babu
in lead roles is directed by
Dinesh Baboo.
The movie gave a major break in Ramesh Aravind 's career. He won accolades for portraying antagonist role in the movie which got state and filmfare awards. As the movie became hugely popular in Sandalwood, the project was later dubbed in Telugu by having the same title and in Tamil as
Uyirinum Melaagaa
and in Malayalam the film which was remade by Dinesh Baboo got released in 1999.
