will come together to celebrate 25 years of success of the movie tomorrow in Bengaluru. The movie starring
Ramesh Aravind, Hema Panchamukhi and Akshay directed by
Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar was released on April 11 1997.
The movie which was extensively shot in Americal revolves around three characters Surya, Shashank and Bhoomi. America America is landmark movie in Ramesh Aravind’s career as the movie celebrates both friendship and love. Some of the songs of the movie like
Nooru Janmaku
and
Yaava Mohana Murali
are still remembered even today. Actors
Dattanna, Vaishali Kasravalli, C R Simha and Shivaram are seen in pivotal roles in the serial.
Mano Murthy composed the music for the film.
Sunny Joseph is the cinematographer. It is said that America America is the first Kannada film to be released in USA.
