Ambareesh to contest elections

Speculations were rife about actor Ambareesh contesting elections but looks like now the rumours and speculations can be put to rest. The veteran actor has got a green signal from the Congress High Commission to contest elections from Mandya by getting a ticket from them.
The actor was earlier in a dilemma in regards to his constituency. Though this time around he is contesting the elections from Mandya, he had switched over to Srirangapattana last time around during the Assembly elections but suffered a defeat.So, this time around, the actor has decided to content from Mandya again but what is interesting to see, is that the supporters of Atmananda, the current MLA of Mandya, have objected to it. In fact, they want Ambareesh to contest elections from Srirangapattana but the senior member of the Kannada film industry chose to remain mum about it.
But, the Congress High Command has come to his rescue by giving him a ticket to contest the elections from Mandya.
