Ambareesh begins campaigning in Mandya

Rebel star Ambareesh, who will contest from Mandya constituency in the assembly elections which will be held on May 5, has started door to door campaigning in Mandya. Actor Darshan, who is acting with Ambareesh in the upcoming movie Bul Bul, which also has Rachita Ram in the lead, will campaign along with the actor this month.
There were speculations that the actor will contest from either Mandya or Srirangaptana constituency, but now the actor has chosen to contest from Mandya.Ambareesh said, “It is 99 percent confirm that I will be contesting from Mandya. I will file my nomination papers on April 15.” Ambareesh, who is also a former central minister had contested from Srirangpatana in the last assembly elections, but suffered a defeat. Recently, he was conferred honorary doctorate from Karnataka University of Dharwad recently.
The actor was last seen in blockbuster movie Drama, which had Yash and Radhika Pandit in the lead. The movie is directed by Yograj Bhat.
