Ambareesh back, takes dig at Ramya
Rebel Star Ambareesh returned to Bangalore on Friday, after treatment for a lung condition in Singapore. The actor-minister was received by a large gathering of friends and near and dear ones. Shortly after his return, Ambareesh was back in business, attending a press meet and speaking at length about his health, Mandya and politics in general.
During the hour-long interaction, Ambareesh took a dig at sitting Mandya MP, actress-turned-politician Ramya, who is seeking re-election from the constituency.

"See, I told her that she's been very lucky to have become MP without having to struggle or even ask for votes. As such, what you need to do is go to all the villages in Mandya and meet the people in person and find out their troubles.' But then she's into Twitter, Facebook and Whatsapp. That is not for Mandya.
If you go to Mandya and ask the people if you are on Facebook or Twitter, that is not important. She is young and doesn't know. Give her another five years and she will understand, " said Ambareesh.
The actress-politician had to recently apologize to Ambareesh fans and followers for her alleged comments about his entry into politics. It was also alleged that she was using his name to her benefit while campaigning, while he was battling illness in Singapore.
