Ambareesh, Rajinikanth helped ease Vasishta Simha's shift from villain to hero

Vasishta N Simha is gearing up for the release of India vs England. In a recent interview, the actor, who has carved a name for himself in the Kannada Film Industry playing antagonists, spoke about playing the hero. He reportedly said that while yesteryear stars would often transform from villains to heroes, the transition is not very common today. He cited Ambareesh and Rajinikanth as examples and said they helped him understand that such a transition is alright.He reportedly added that even when Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, the director of India vs England pitched the film to him, he was apprehensive and thought the director had accidentally called him.
