In the era of content consumption, an actor has to be a lot more than just someone who delivers lines on screen, believes Zaid Khan. The actor, who is set to collaborate with director Anil Kumar for his second project, says, “In today’s world, where there’s so much content available. It’s important for the script to choose me, rather than me simply picking scripts. I’m always looking for roles that challenge me and push me beyond my comfort zone.”
‘I am currently working on mastering Kannada’The actor says he is in the process of polishing his Kannada. Recognising that his diction needed work, he had no voiceover for his debut film, Banaras. This move, he says, fuelled his dedication to hone his Kannada skills. “I put in a lot of effort and now, in my next film with, you can expect me to bring my characters to life in Kannada with my own voice,” the actor says.
