A number of siblings have worked together over the years and had each other backs in an industry that's rigged with competetion

Much like in other film industries, the Kannada Film Industry has had siblings collaborate with each other on several occasions. Despite technically being professional rivals, the siblings here have looked out for each other and lent their successes and fame to the benefit of the other. Let's take a look at some of the famous celebrity siblings who have worked together.

Dr. Rajkumar and S.P. Varadaraj

Known to be Dr. Raj's most trusted aid throughout his life and career, S.P. Varadaraj was instrumental in guiding both the actor and their home production of Vajreshwari Combines. Despite being an actor himself, S.P. Varadaraj chose to remain behind the scenes and carefully looked after Dr. Raj's career and ensured that their combined vision remained intact. Mr. Varadaraj has also produced films like 'Bhootayyana Maga Aiyyu' and 'Hemavathi' and is supposedly one of the main forces behind the making of 'Kasturi Nivasa'.

The first of their many collaborations came about in 1980 with 'Minchina Ota', a film directed by Shankar Nag, and they would go on to repeat the magic with 'Janma Janumada Anubandha', and 'Accident'. Jaggesh and Komal Kumar

The comedic duo of Jaggesh and Komal has worked together on multiple occasions and can be easily be deemed as one of the most successful and popular sibling stories of Kannada cinema. While Jaggesh, the elder brother, started off in the mid-'80s with an array of supporting roles, Komal began his career in 1992 alongside Jaggesh in 'Super Nan Maga'. This was a particularly crucial phase for Jaggesh as he embarked on a new journey as a leading man to soon establish himself as one of the biggest and most popular stars of the time. Komal, on the other hand, had to wait out a long period and was unfortunately confined to the "comic relief" space in Kannada cinema until films 'Mr. Garagasa' and others came along to launch him as a hero.

When filmmaker Anup Bhandari decided on making his first feature 'RangiTaranga', his obvious choice for the male lead's part was his kid brother Nirup. The stellar success of the film meant that both the brothers became sought-after right away and the two reunited to repeat the magic three years later with 'Rajaratha'. Despite the second attempt's failure, the brothers continue to work together and will soon be seen collaborating for the third straight time on 'Vikrant Rona' wherein Nirup Bhandari plays a crucial role.
