Ale gets U certificate

Youth film Ale -- which stars newcomer Tanush and Harshika Poonacha in the lead -- has been cleared by the Regional Censor Board with a U certificate. The film, which will release shortly, will also see fashion guru Prasad Bidapa's daughter Aviva making her Sandalwood debut in a special role.
Ale was earlier in the news because Harshika boycotted the promotions after Aviva was given prominence in the movie posters.Eventually, the matter was settled with the producer apologizing to Harshika. The movie has also been lying in the cans for several months.
Ale’s large star cast includes Chandrashekar, Ramakrishna, Suman Shetty, Joe Simon, Padmaja Rao, Tabala Nani, PN Sathya, Biradar and Sanjeev. Gopikiran has written the story and screenplay for Ale, and has directed the film in association with Aadath. Vijay Bharamasagar has written the dialogues for the movie, while A Raja is the cinematographer. After a brief hiatus, Mano Murthy is staging a comeback to Sandalwood with Ale. Ultimate Shivu has directed the stunt sequences and the art direction is by Babu Khan.
