Akash Srivatsa helped break my ego: Judah Sandhy

With under a month left to go for the release of the much-anticipated flick Shivaji Surathkal 2, the team’s promotion kicked off with the release of a video song. Titled Twinkle Twinkle, the song featuring Sangeetha Sringeri and Ramesh Aravind dropped on Wednesday evening. Speaking on the occasion, music director Judah Sandhy shared that the moment he collaborated with Akash Srivatsa, his ego was broken.
"Working with Akash, I realized that more than skill, it was efficiency that was needed. And for that to happen, the ego must be dropped. He explained things to me and made me a better technician. We audio scripted each frame, the kind of instrumentation that’s needed... I’ve been working since 2013, but this is the first time we tried a different working style," shares Judah. The composer adds that this is a technique that he will try with other directors too. "I’m grateful to Simple Suni and Akash, because of whom I’ve come so far. Both instalments of Shivaji Surathkal have been extremely wonderful to work on, and especially with Shivaji Surathkal 2, there was a kind of positive energy that was guiding us," states Judah.
Meanwhile, the movie, which belongs to the whodunnit genre, is all set for release on April 14. With a sub-title called The Mysterious Case of Maayavi, the film stars Ramesh Aravind, the protagonist, and leading ladies including Radhika Narayan, Meghana Gaonkar, and Sangeetha Sringeri in a special appearance.
