and Aindrita Ray hold a special place among the

fans. The two were introduced into the industry when it was undergoing a facelift of sorts, with filmmakers such as Yograj Bhat, Duniya Suri, Pawan Kumar, and a smatter of others starting to make a new kind of cinema. In this mix, Diganth and Aindrita featured in the new lot of actors that was young, progressive, and willing to experiment.

Over the years, the pairing of Diganth and Aindrita has been a successful one - both on and off-screen. They transitioned successfully into becoming a real-life couple in 2018 but haven't been seen together in a film for over 8 years (the last being 'Parijatha' in 2012). For obvious reasons, the 'Manasaare' couple's fans have been longing to see them together since then and it would seem apparent now that something's about to give.

Well, the wait is finally over. The duo will soon be seen in a film that's interestingly titled 'Kshamisi, Nimma Khatheyalli Hanavilla' and have already begun shooting for it. Both Diganth and Aindrita used the social-media very recently to confirm the reports and share their part of the excitement. Highlighting the fact that they are, indeed, back together after 8 years, the actress shared a candid still from the film.

Much like many of their fans, actor Sudeep too was mighty pleased with the announcement and was quite vocal about it in his tweet.

'Kshamisi, Nimma Khatheyalli Hanavilla' is being directed by Vinayaka Kodsara with Silk Manju serving as its producer. The film also stars actor Ranjini Raghavan and the shooting is already underway in a tiny Malnad village. From the looks of it, the film seems like a cozy love story but it would perhaps be too early to judge it. More updates to follow.
