Adityaa, who was last seen in Sandalwood in Rebel, will be playing the antagonist in his next film. He has signed Mahesh Rao’s as-yet-untitled film that stars Yash. The actor says that he plays a guy with a dangerous and menacing demeanour. “When K Manju first approached me, he was apprehensive about whether I would be willing to play the negative lead.
But I told him that I would listen to the script. I fell in love with the character as well as the narration. The film has a good storyline and I especially enjoyed the climax and what my character adds to it,” says Adityaa, adding, “This is also going to be a welcome break from the usual boring protagonists and I think it’s good to be bad once in a while.” The actor also is quite upbeat about the response his role in his Vaalu fetched him. “People loved my character and I got a good response from everyone in Chennai. In fact, I’ve been shuttling between Bengaluru and Chennai, since a lot of people have been approaching me with good onscreen characters there. I have a few scripts that I am currently considering there,” says Adityaa. Apart from this new signing,
Adityaa reveals that he has two more films lined up in Sandalwood — one with
Mussanje Mahesh and the other one revolving around racing.
