Actress Kavya Shetty tests Covid-19 postive; under home quarantine

While Bollywood has had its fair share, thanks to the bad situation in Maharashtra, the rising cases in the city has now posed the threat to the members from the Kannada film industry. Kavya took to her social media page to share the news as she wrote, "Hi everyone, I have been tested positive for COVID-19 this morning. I have immediately isolated myself and i am under home quarantine. I request all those who came in contact with me to get tested immediately. Take care and stay safe." The actress is ensuring that she keeps to herself in her home and shared that she is taking the prescribed medication hoping to recover soon.

Kavya was recently seen in a special number with Puneeth Rajkumar in his latest release. She also has Lanke alongside Yogi, where she plays one of her most challenging characters we hear. Kavya is also a part of the Love Mocktail remake in Telugu which is being helmed by Kannada filmmaker Nagshekar and she is essaying the role that was originally played by Amrutha Iyengar in the Kannada original. Kavya also has a web series in Kannada that talks about male pregnancy among her other projects.
