With lockdown ruled being relaxed and the world slowly getting back to normal, a bigger number of artistes too are going back to the set and resuming shooting. The latest being Sandalwood actress
Hariprriya, who took to her social media page to announce that she is “Back to work!!”
The actress, who is well-known for her Kannada and Telugu movies, posted a mirror selfie while she was reading her script and getting her makeup done before filming a scene.
She captioned it: “💃 Missed the sets, shooting, my makeup, vanity van, script, my staff, and most of all being in front of the camera ❤️🎥 I took a 2 month hiatus because of my hectic schedule last year but thanks to the coronavirus, it lasted 6 months 😐🤨 Feels amazing to be back on the sets 😍🤩 I’m shooting for something exciting, but it’s not a movie. I'll let you guess 😉😉 #shooting #shootlife #artist (sic).”
Apart from Kannada and Telugu, Hariprriya has also worked in the Tamil, Malayalam and Tulu film industries. Among her much-talked-about films are Ugramm, Ranna, Ricky, Neer Dose, Bharjari, Samhaara, Life Jothe Ondh Selfie, Bell Bottom, D/O Parvathamma and Bicchugatti – Chapter 1- Dalvayi Dange.
Sharing her thoughts on the Corona pandemic breakout and the subsequent lockdown, the actress told us in a recent interview that it has been an equaliser. “We are all in the same boat now. Everybody is forced to stay home and barred from mingling with people outside,” she said.
She also said that she wished life was simpler and that her every move wasn’t being watched. “Like any common person, we want to be able to go out whenever we want and mingle with people, without getting stared at, or being recognized. While it feels wonderful to be a public figure, unsolicited attention can sometimes get on your nerves… There have been times where I have disguised myself just to enjoy a little privacy,” she wrote in an exclusive piece for us.
