Actress delays film due to Aashaada

Politician-musician Milind Dharmasen is set to begin work on his film Nursammana Kathe, which is inspired by Bhanwari Devi’s story. The film will be a political thriller that will have incidents inspired by Karnataka politics too. Anita Bhat plays the lead in this film.
The film, which was to take off last month, will now go on floors only in August. “Anita believes in traditions and suggested that we should hold on till the inauspicious month of Aashaada is over.I asked her if that was necessary, but she won me over with the argument that when we look into vaastuwhile selecting a house, why not hold filming for a while?” he says.
The USP of his film, adds Milind, is that 14 real politicians will act in it. “We have corporators, MLAs and MLCs from the state’s three major parties acting in significant roles, and the dialogues will have political jargon. I want to give Sandalwood a film similar to those that Prakash Jha makes,” he says.
