Actor Shobitha Shivanna found dead at her apartment in Hyderabad

Kannada actor Shobitha Shivanna has allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Kondapur, Hyderabad on Sunday. Post her wedding in 2023, Shobitha had settled down in Hyderabad with her husband Sudhir.
The police have registered a case and investigations are on. Cops also shared that haven’t found any suicide note. The news of her untimely death has left the Kannada television fraternity in shock.
Shobitha who was from Sakleshpur of Hassan, aged 32, has acted in serials like Brahmagantu, Gaalipata, Mangalagowri and Ninidhale before she ventured into films with projects like ATM, First day first show, Jack Pot, Eradonla Muru and Attempt to murder.

According to sources, “Her mortal remains are likely to be brought to her native Sakleshpur where the last rites will be performed.”
Bharath Boppanna who acted with Shobitha in the serial Brahmagantu says, “Nearly, 1000 episodes of the serial were aired which made us work together for years. Shobhitha was a very strong headed woman, always known for her positive attitude and being independent. I was in shock when I got to know that she is no more.”
Shobitha who completed her degree in fashion designing from National Institute of Fashion Technology had developed interest in acting which made her step into the television industry
