Actor Chetan Kumar takes a dig at the government making memorials for film stars in public money

Over the past few years, Chetan Kumar is getting into the news for all his controversial statements more than his movies. This time, Chetan Kumar's latest statement is against the government for spending public money to build memorials for film stars. Now actor Chetan Kumar making this statement on his Twitter account has got a mixed response as some netizens agreed that the public money shouldn't be used for filmstars' memorials and on the other side, movie buffs and fans of Dr. Rajkumar, Ambareesh and Dr. Vishnuvardhan have hit back on Chetan Kumar asking why didn't he had the guts to say this when the memorial was done for Dr. Rajkumar and Ambareesha who are biggest stars of the Kannada cinema and why he waited so long to make this statement only during the opening of Dr. Vishnuvardhan memorial. Also, enraged fans are asking Chetan Kumar what is wrong to celebrate the heroes behind Kannada cinema's growth all these years. Netizens also pointed out to Chetan that today he is quite known because of being an actor and questioned his hypocrisy for taking a dig at his own film industry.
