Film '
ACT 1978
' has created quite an impression since its release. The vigilante socio-thriller starring
Yagna Shetty, Sanchari Vijay, B Suresha, Avinash Yeladur, Pramod Shetty, and Achyuth Kumar has proven to be a relevant film that offers a perspective into the lives of commoners and the gentle crusades they endure when it comes to the government and the prevailing corruption.
The film has
garnered many accolades and director
Mansore, whose previous venture, '
Naticharami
', too was a radical take on yet another social problem, deserves a lot of the praise for the conviction shown. To add to the much deserved praise, 'ACT 1978' was recently acknowledged by Bengaluru's Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nisha James, who was particularly touched by its pertinence and sheer courage. After watching the film, the DCP met with the film's crew personally to congratulate them on their efforts and also endorse the film's central message.

Along with the gesture, DCP Nisha James even held a private screening of the film for all the employees at the commissioner's office. The move certainly highlights the impact 'ACT 1978' has had on everyone and for the makers too, this would be one of their proudest moments.
'ACT 1978' is currently running successfully in cinema halls across the state and is looking good to continue doing well at the box-office. The film has been written by Veerendra Mallanna and Dayanand TK, photographed by Satya Hegde, and edited by Nagendra K. Ujjani.
