Abishek’s next film has an international mafia setting

After his debut film Amar and a busy stint helping his mother Sumalatha Ambareesh in campaigning for the parliamentary elections from Mandya, everyone wondered what Abishek Ambareesh’s next step would be. As it turned out, he decided to return to films and chose director Prashant Raj to helm his next. Prashant, we hear, is currently in Chennai for pre-production work on the project. “This film will be shot at international locations, much like Saaho.It will have a mafia and underworld setting, which is a first for me. The story is quite complex, which is why scripting took a while. Casting and other details will be finalised soon, but rest assured, we are looking for local talent to be cast opposite Abishek, and are looking for an actress who will match his personality," says Prashanth.
