Actor-director
Upendra’s much-awaited directorial venture of the year,
UI, is “set to hit the screens in October in multiple languages,” the makers of the film have announced. The film marks Upendra’s return to direction after
Uppi 2. Featuring
Reeshma Nanaiah as the female lead, the film is produced by G Manoharan and KP Srikanth.
Sharing his excitement about the release date, Upendra said, “With the film all set for release in October, I can’t wait to see how audiences react to it.
This movie doesn’t follow the typical cinematic pattern. We’ve incorporated cutting-edge VFX; we’ve also focused heavily on content, with every scene packed with symbolism. It’s designed to challenge and engage viewers from start to finish.”
“We’re almost finalising the VFX, which will fully immerse audiences in the UI universe, being crafted in Bengaluru and Vancouver. Also, Ajaneesh B Loknath’s background score, composed in Budapest, will elevate the film to greater heights. With October being the festive season, we aim to capitalise on it by delivering an exceptional cinematic experience,” added producer K P Srikanth.
