The untimely demise of
National Award winning actor
Sanchari Vijay earlier this month has left a big void in the film industry and the members of the film industry have all been trying to come to terms with it.
Filmmaker Ravi Kashyap
has ensured a
special homage
for the actor in the United States of America, where
Franklin Theatre
has a 24 hour sign that has a special tribute to him. This was shared by filmmaker
BS Lingadevaru
, who had directed
Vijay in his National Award winning film outing Naanu Avanalla... Avalu.
The sign board reads, "Always in our hearts, Sanchari Vijay, gone yet not forgotten." Sharing an image of this special tribute, Lingadevaru wrote, "Franklin Theatre, USA, has been displaying the message Always in our hearts, Sanchari Vijay, gone yet not forgotten in front of the theatre for 24 hours since this morning in loving memory of Vijay. Thank you Franklin Theatre and Ravi Kashyap."
Vijay, who has half a dozen films that show him varied roles up for release, has proven his versatility in each of his films, be it Dasavala, Harivu, Nathicharami, Naanu Avanalla... Avalu, Krishna Thulasi or ACT: 1978. He was also extremely active as a COVID warrior helping out people till the last day when he met with the fatal accident.
Filmmaker friends like Lingadevaru and
Mansore have been extremely upset by this loss and have ensured that their friend will always be remembered in the best way possible.
