A Darshan versus Sudeep clash at the box office in February

Two Kannada superstars who command a formidable fan base are Kichcha Sudeep and Darshan Thoogudeepa. In fact, fans of the two actors are often seen warring on the supremacy of their idols on social media. This February 5th will see the release of the Prajwal Devaraj starrer Inspector Vikram and Chandan Achar starrer Mangalavara Rajaadina, which will interestingly bring a unique Sudeep versus Darshan clash at the box office.
Darshan will be seen in a cameo as Bhagat Singh in Inspector Vikram. There have been posters showing Darshan donning a Bhagat Singh avatar from the film, which received a lot of appreciation from his fans. The team has kept the role of the Challenging Star under wraps and he did not feature in the trailer either, which has raised the curiosity among fans, who now want to know more about Darshan's role in the film.
On the other hand, Chandan will be seen playing a hair stylist and a die hard fan of Sudeep in Mangalavara Rajaadina. Chandan's character in the film harbours one dream in the film, which is to give his idol a new hairstyle.
With the Baadshah and Sultan of Sandalwood featuring as the essence of both these films, the clash of their release brings an interesting tussle in front of the fans. While Roberrt and Kotigobba 3 will be releasing only later this year, the release of these two films indirectly give fans a little teaser of something to cheer about before their favourite stars' new releases hit the screens.
