'777 Charlie' release postponed?

Amidst all the buzz regarding the slew of upcoming releases, the film '

777 Charlie

' has somehow stayed under the radar. The Rakshit Shetty production venture was originally slated to release on New Year's Eve, the 31st of December 2021, but the lead-up to this has been quiet and noiseless so far and all this puts forth one important question: Is the release of the pan-Indian film postponed?

While Rakshit Shetty, the producer, got busy with the promotions and eventual release of '

Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana

' (as a presenter), director Kiranraj is said to have immersed himself in the extensive post-production duties - in this vein, the discussions surrounding the scheduled release have come to a sudden halt with many wondering if the makers have hit some sort of a roadblock.

However, a source close to the team reveals that all's quite well in the camp and that there is no reason to worry whatsoever. Stating the makers are currently involved in negotiations related to a major deal for the Hindi version, the source adds that one can expect a crucial update to be made within the next 4-5 days; and this update, suggestively, will be about the new release date.

The makers of '777 Charlie', the source goes on to add, are quite excited about the new signing with respect to the distribution of the Hindi version and are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring a grand release for the film.

'777 Charlie' marks the full-length debut of Kiranraj K. who had previously directed one of the seven segments in Rishab Shetty's 'Katha Sangama'. The film, centered around the bond shared between a man and his pet dog, stars Rakshit Shetty in the lead with Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B. Shetty, Danish Sait, Bobby Simha, and many others featuring in important roles. The makers have traversed a large part of the country to conceive the film and have clocked 164 days for production alone. More updates to follow soon.
