Raktha Kanneeru

Upendra's 'Buddhivantha' was a remake of the old Tamil classic 'Ratha Kanneer'. This was a huge challenge for Upendra as a writer and actor to remake this old classic to the modern sensibilities of the audience and Upendra won the gamble like a boss proving his mettle as a writer and actor. 'Raktha Kanneeru' set the box office on fire for the awesome portrayal of Upendra as an arrogant millionaire atheist returned NRI who has his own mindset and attitude towards everything in the world. The dialogues of Upendra were a huge rage where Upendra spewed naked truth about the society and human mindset through satire and comedy touches.
