20 years on, Rakshita Prem revisits her Kalasipalya days in the Old City of Bern

It’s been two decades since Kalasipalya became a hit, and Rakshita returned to the Old City of Bern in Switzerland, where the famous song O Kencha O Kencha was shot. This time, she was there with her son Soorya, not as an actress but as a film producer. “It was so special because I was with my son. So many memories came rushing back, I FaceTimed Darshan also,” she shared. The film Kalasipalya remains a fan favourite, celebrated for its memorable songs and the undeniable on-screen chemistry between Rakshita and her co-star, Darshan. The same location, the Old City of Bern, is now used as the backdrop for the upcoming Kannada movie KD - The Devil, with Rakshita as the producer and her husband, Prem, as the director, starring Dhruva Sarja and Reeshma Nanaiah.
