Director Prashanth Neel's Kannada debut, 'Ugramm', completed 10 years after its release on February 21, 2024. Prashanth was later praised for his 'KGF' franchise starring Yash. On the occasion of completing a decade, the filmmaker recalled the lessons he learned while making 'Ugramm' and called this movie the greatest teacher in his career.
Starring Sriimurali and Hariprriya in leading roles, 'Ugramm' taught Prashanth a life lesson. He was disappointed when 'KGF' became a huge success, as he wanted his first dream movie to reach such heights. While making the recent hit 'Salaar', he made a lot of changes to portray Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the film. He revealed that 'Ugramm' is the change-maker in the Kannada industry, as it urged many filmmakers to change the usual mundane pattern of filmmaking.
As per reports, he had to sell off his house for the film. No one helped him to distribute the movie, but Kannada actor Darshan helped to distribute 'Ugramm' under his production house. In a recent promo video shared by Anchor Anushree on her Instagram account, the star cast of 'Ugramm' can be seen sharing their experience along with Prashanth Neel.
