Meet Adarsh Gunduraj – a CA turned actor

A sand artiste and one of the youngest qualified Chartered Accountants in India, Adarsh Gunduraj is all set for his first major filmi outing — Swartharatna. He worked in various MNCs and started his own Chartered Accountancy firm, but Adarsh could not ignore his creative side and love for art. The calling was so strong that Adarsh enrolled in an acting course at the Government Film Institute, and even picked up other skills, such as dancing, swimming, horse riding and doing stunts. “My media journey began with doing TV advertisements. I then went on to feature in the Hindi film Yeh Dil Ramta Jogi and also did theatre, apart from acting in an English film called Mudita. My first break as the protagonist is actually in a Tamil film that is currently under production. After a guest role in the Kannada film Doodh Sagar, I am all set to make my debut as a lead in Swartharatna, which is a commercial film directed by Ashwin Kodange of First Rank Raju fame,” says Adarsh. The film is slated to release on November 30.
