Music maestro

Ilaiyaraja

can be regarded as more than just an ordinary film composer. His music captured the true essence of any story and his songs were more than just compositions for they carried an energy analogous to that of the film. For reasons unknown, Ilaiyaraja would not come back to score another Dr. Rajkumar film but the fact that their primary collaboration failed to trigger a greater response is still baffling to many. 'Nee Nanna Gellalare' managed to break even, nevertheless.
