Story: Director A Venugopal chose an exciting subject line of how a youth takes revenge on the infamous Dandupalya gang. However, the movie deserved better narration and better lead actors.Movie Review: Members of Dandupalya gang were always known for their treacherous manner of killing people. It must have been a tough call to direct a movie on one of the most terrified gangs, as nobody has ever witnessed them committing the crime. But director A Venugopal weaved a story about a youth who take revenge and kills five members of the gang, including a woman. Ravichandran (Kumar) is a happy family man with wife Sneha (Nisha Shetty) and parents (Padmaja Rao and Ramesh Bhat). One day, when Ravichandran was abroad on an assignment, the five-member gang enters his house and massacres his family. The killing took place when Sneha was recording videos of her in-laws. Fortunately, the video captured the killings. After seeing the video, a shell-shocked Ravichandran decides to take revenge. How does he manage to chase the notorious gang, single-handedly?While Kumar does manage to justify his role in the second half, he still has a long way to go. The dubbed voice does not help lift his character or personality at all. Meanwhile, Nisha has done a great job and Surekha Pallavi is impressive in the role of Lakshmi. Let’s not forget about music by Vijayabharathi, which delivers a couple of catchy tunes.
