While the film has earnest intentions, there are times where it lacks the finesse to carry it through.

Pathibeku.com tries to venture into the space that was seen in the 90s films that starred heroines like Malashree, Vinaya Prasad and Thaara. The heroine is the man of the film in the most literal sense. She takes charge of her life, meddles with others' for fun and does more than just dolling up on screen. This is refreshing to see on screen.

Sheethal Shetty, as the girl who wants to find herself a suitable boy against all odds, is praiseworthy. She has the quirks and charm, and makes you root for her. There is a good ensemble cast, which includes Arun Gowda as a rowdy, and the hilarious onscreen couple of Krishna Adiga and Harini.

Pathibeku.com is a sincere attempt at a female-oriented romcom with a series of comedy of errors. The film lags at times and might not be the most technically competent one, but it still has its heart in its place and can entertain if you are the sort who likes to see the woman at the helm of the affairs.
