Story: The story is old wine in a new bottle. Director M S Ramesh has showcased another face of rowdyism with a tinge of romance, involving a politician and his henchmen. With romance on one side and rowdysim on another, how does our hero overcomes his dilemma is the gist of the story.

Movie Review: The director has selected an age-old story of a rowdy who falls in love with a girl and faces embarrassing situations for her sake. With a good script, the director has narrated the story laced with punchy dialogues which is sure to get him a round of applause from front-benchers. However, there seems to be something wrong with the editing, with songs appearing suddenly and a couple of scenes ending abruptly.

The story revolves around Tippu (Auditya), an orphan, who is a close aide of MLA Rajendra (Shobhraj) and henchman Zamir Ali (Rangayana Raghu). The hero falls in love with Anu (Ragini). Caught in the web of rowdyism, Tippu faces a trial on the charge of killing Anu’s brother, a crime reporter. Circumstances force him to distance himself from the MLA and his henchman, who want to eliminate him. Anu, too, leaves him after her brother’s murder. How does he face the situation? The story lags a little towards the climax, which finally ends on a happy note.

Auditya is superb with his dialogue delivery and expressions. Romantic Ragini is lively as a lover girl. Rangayana and Shobhraj give life to their roles. Dharma impresses you as a police officer. Senior artiste Pushpa Swamy wins applause in one sequence with brilliant dialogue delivery. Music by Gurukiran is average.
