Seizer

Seizer works as an agent who seizes cars for a financer when the parties fail to repay their loans. He is also killing people for a certain reason. What is Seizer trying to avenge through his moonlighting escapades?

There has been a lot of curiosity surrounding this film thanks to its unusual title. The film chronicles the life of a person who works as someone who seizes vehicles for a loan recovery agent and his other personal vendetta. The film has its share of thrills and fights, but the prolonged screenplay and the excessive mass elements introduced in the plot play hindrance to what could have been a gripping tale.

The film also has a little love story that could easily have been done away with and the makers could have just concentrated on a slick tale of mafia and revenge. There is a good ensemble cast at hand and their characters too are pretty interesting. One only wishes the filmmaker had tried to steer clear from the tropes of commercial cinema like the mandate comic plot or the romance and duets. People are accepting newer ideas and films without the standard masala fare have been welcomed too. Seizer could have well been one of those films. Unfortunately, it remains as just another commercial potboiler. There are some thrills and frills that the audience do enjoy, but there could have been greater scope for improvement.

All said, Seizer isn't a bad option for people who are looking for a dose of routine commercial drama. If you're a fan of Chiranjeevi Sarja, Ravichandran or Prakash Raj, this might be of interest to you. Go ahead and give it a try.
