Plot: Rama Krishna (Rishi) embarks on a tumultuous journey to pursue a career in politics, only to discover his innate leadership qualities.

Review: Rama Krishna (Rishi) is a spirited individual whose antics, along with his friends, keep the village abuzz. His affection for Poorni (Shubra Aiyappa) is genuine, but circumstances compel her to seek opportunities in the city, prompting Rama to initiate local employment initiatives to retain youth in the village. Driven by a desire for change, Rama ventures into politics, only to face unexpected obstacles that force him out of his hometown. Can he clear his name and regain acceptance?

In this modern reimagining of the Ramayana, characters exhibit quirkiness but lack cohesion to anchor the film. Director Vikas Pampapati's debut struggles to translate metaphoric references effectively, resulting in a disjointed narrative. The dialogue, particularly the Mangalorean dialect, feels outdated and occasionally cringeworthy. Prolonged sequences and extraneous scenes detract from the film's essence, making "Ramana Avatara" a tedious viewing experience.

While Rishi, Pranitha Subhash, and Shubra Aiyappa deliver commendable performances, the director underutilised talents like Arun Sagar, who portrays the antagonist. Despite the cast's efforts, the film fails to capitalize on its potential, leaving much to be desired in execution and storytelling.
