Plot: Powder follows the escapades of three youngsters aiming to get rich quickly by selling an illegal powder that's in high demand.

Movie Review: A large shipment of illegal powder, imported from Chinese dealer Jeev's to Karnataka, is entrusted to Annaji (Rangayana Raghu) for distribution. The plot takes a twist when a substantial quantity of this powder, worth crores, goes missing—replaced by ordinary talcum powder that ends up in a supermarket. This mishap disrupts Annaji’s business and triggers the wrath of Jeev's, with suspicions falling on Sulieman (Gopalkrishna Deshpande) for foul play.

Meanwhile, Surya (Diganth) and Anirdh Acharya (Karan), two carefree bachelors from a poor middle-class background, lead an easygoing life. Surya works at a supermarket while trying to win over nurse Nithya (Dhanya Ramkumar). When they learn about the lucrative powder, they, along with Nithya, set out to source it from various parts of Mysuru, hoping to strike it rich. Mallika (Sharmiela Mandre), the gang’s trouble-shooter, is also on a mission to locate the missing powder.

Director Janardhan Chikkana returns with Powder, skillfully blending humor and suspense. Though the first half takes time to establish the plot and includes some uneven sequences, the story gains momentum in the second half with unexpected twists.

The ensemble cast elevates the film, with standout performances from Nagabhushan as Bruce Lee, Sharmiela Mandre impressing with her stunts, and great chemistry between Dhanya and Diganth. Anuridh Acharya, Ravishankar Gowda, Rangayana Raghu, and Gopalkrishna Deshpande also deliver excellent performances. The film’s climax hints at a potential sequel.

Powder packs in all the ingredients to be the perfect comic entertainer for the weekend, offering plenty of laughs and light-hearted fun.
