The movie opens with the vibrant “Gee Gee Pada” song, a beautiful tribute to the charm of Uttara Karnataka. We’re introduced to RJ Mayur, host of the popular radio show Patch Up Stories with Mayur, where he helps couples navigate relationship struggles. As the narrative unfolds, we learn how Mayur—an engineering graduate—found his way into the world of radio. We also get glimpses of his tight-knit circle of family and friends. Ironically, though he gives love advice for a living, Mayur is single himself—a fact those around him love to tease him about.

Just when his life seems to fall into a routine, Kushee enters the picture in true cinematic fashion. The first half of the film explores their growing romance, filled with heartfelt conversations and leisurely walks through the picturesque town of Dharwad. Their chemistry feels natural and charming, pulling you into their world. But just as things begin to feel perfect, Kushee suddenly disappears without a trace. The story then shifts to Mayur’s emotional journey as he searches for answers, trying to understand why she left—and where she might have gone. Will this turn into yet another tale of heartbreak, or will fate bring them back together?

One of the film’s strongest aspects is its cinematography. From Uttara Karnataka and Mysuru to Chikmagaluru and beyond, the visuals offer more than just scenic beauty—they capture the region’s everyday charm, local culture, and quiet streets with authenticity and care. The first half is particularly engaging, with lighthearted, relatable moments that include not only the budding romance but also endearing scenes with Mayur’s family and friends. The tone is warm and easygoing, creating an emotional bond with the viewer.

However, the second half sees a noticeable dip in momentum. As the story takes a more dramatic turn, it slips into clichés and stereotypes, losing some of the freshness and simplicity that made the first half so enjoyable. That said, the performances remain grounded and genuine, and the technical aspects—from music to cinematography—continue to shine throughout. If you can overlook the narrative stumbles in the latter half, this remains an endearing, family-friendly romantic film ideal for a laid-back watch.
