Plot: Kreem explores the theme of human sacrifice, practiced by powerful people for personal gain.

Review: Kreem delves into a murky world ruled by Yajaman (Agni Sridhar) and his followers. This group engages in ritualistic killings, particularly sacrificing young girls, in a twisted pursuit of wealth and power.

Yajaman's obsession with this practice knows no bounds, leading him to even consider sacrificing his own son, Aaron, who questions the validity of their ancestral deity.

Aksha (Samyuktha Hegde), a young woman burdened by her father's illness, is forced into prostitution. A deceitful man, Rudre Gowda (Achyuth Kumar), preys on her desperation, promising money while ultimately pushing her towards sacrificial danger. Will Aksha succumb to this evil practice or find the strength to fight back against these malicious forces? This forms the core conflict of the film.

While the film attempts to expose the horrors of human sacrifice, it falters in its execution. The narrative, despite its gripping premise and visually captivating elements, ultimately falls victim to a predictable climax and lacklustre content. Samyuktha Hegde delivers a noteworthy performance in the dual roles of Pearl and Aksha, especially shining in her portrayal of female strength even during action sequences.

Although director Abhishek Basanth drives home a point on inhumane rituals it fails to make an impact. Background music keeps it hooked to the content to some extent. If you have penchant for thrillers, this might interest you.
