Kaarmoda Saridu

Karthik (Manju Rajanna), who has been leading a solitary life, following the death of his grandfather, is fed up with his existence and attempts suicide multiple times, only to survive. After one such attempt, he sees and falls in love with a doctor at the hospital, Priya (Advithi Shetty), which gives him a new lease of life to lead a happy life.
But the twist is that Karthik has a secret – he can see spirits, four of them to be precise, who set out to help him win over Priya. The ‘friendly’ ghosts get him to find meaning in life by getting him to fulfill their wishes, a process Karthik begins to like.
But will Priya fall for the charms of the now reformed Karthik and accept his proposal? Will Karthik get to know about the real intentions of the spirits?
Karmoda Saridu, which has a flagging story, fails to leave a mark. The movie doesn't offer much to warrant an interesting weekend watch. It is only in the climax that the director manages to strike a chord with audiences. Cinematographer Arun Suresh has aesthetically captured the scenic beauty of Chikamagaluru, which is the only bright spot in the movie.
