Akash, a happy-go-lucky guy, meets an ambitious Purvi when he saves her from killing herself. The two of them become friends instantly and Akash helps Purvi find happiness in her life. Just when one thinks there could be something more than just friendship between them, Akash learns a shocking truth about Purvi's life.

Kantha Kannalli and his team have been very vocal in promoting the film as one that has a strong female protagonist. The songs and the fact that it is catering to the much-ignored family audience has created some buzz. The film has some interesting moments and some soppy scenes, but it ends up being a little clichéd in its approach.

Purvi is this ambitious girl who aspires to have a successful career. But will this ambition lead to her downfall? Does it take away her personal life and relationships? When she meets the benevolent Akash, things seem to be falling in place. But will there be a happily ever after?

While the film begins with showing a very strong female lead, Purvi is relegated to a weak supporting role in the second half. The film seems to be following the age-old rhetoric shown in films which questions whether too much of ambition and ego takes women away from fulfilling the roles that they are created to do. At a times when makers across the nation seem to be pushing the envelope when it comes to writing parts for women in films, this one seems a little hackneyed.

Meghana Raj gives her best to her role and excels, but one wishes she was given more to do. Shri Mahadev, who has the meatiest role, seems earnest and displays some good dancing skills. Tilak has limited screen space and does his bit. There are some good songs and a couple show the potential of being on the charts for some time.

While the film has a sweet narrative, and has a formulaic ending, this could have been a bit more. But those looking for conventional cinema with emotions, sentiments and drama, peppered with romance, this could be just what you might enjoy.
